Three different perspectives on irrigation will be offered in this session about finding, funding and adapting the right irrigation for specific sites and needs.  Anne Schwartz of Blue Heron Farm in Rockport will talk about her experience with microsprinklers in a diversified vegetable, berry and nursery plant operation and Don Fesler of United Pipe in Union Gap will talk about the concepts and components of drip irrigation in       permanent crops.  Representatives from the Natural Resources Conservation Service and the North Yakima Conservation District will explain how local conservation districts and USDA programs can provide funds to help growers pay for irrigation systems.
