Dates: August 1, 2016 through November 4, 2016 (dates are flexible)

Ever wanted to know EVERYTHING there is to know about garlic? Come to the sunny Okanogan Valley to work at Filaree Garlic Farm, an organic garlic seed business and farm! We are located close to two towns, the North Cascade Mountains, and many recreational activities for swimming, hiking, and skiing. Our climate is perfect for growing high quality seed crops with our hot and dry summers. For over 25 years Filaree Garlic Farm has grown over 100 strains of organic seed garlic that we ship to customers all over the U.S. Other crops we grow are sweet potatoes, shallots, tomatoes, and melons.

For 2016 we seek highly motivated people for seasonal crew work including garlic harvest, cleaning, planting and shipping. Additionally, we have a greenhouse full of tomatoes, and our fields of shallots, sweet potatoes, and melons will provide harvesting and post-handling opportunities. We welcome hearing from folks who have a background and interest in farming! Starting pay $10.00+ per hour, depending on experience.
