Dates: March/May 2016 through Sept/Oct 2016 (dates are flexible)Letusfarm is located in the Chehalis River Valley west of I5 and midway between Seattle and Portland. We strive for healthy foods from fertile soils using cover cropping. We seek potential farmers and offer learning opportunities in most aspects of vegetable production. Housing is provided, a converted silo, converted milk parlor and tank room, and the original 1935 farm house, all with kitchens and baths. Monthly stipend is $700 to $800 doe and there is bonus for full season. Several lunches are shared and farm produce available seasonally.
There is a small library for reference. Projects are encouraged. The vegetables are grown on about 6 acres and there are three greenhouses and 6 hoop houses.
