Thanks for celebrating Washington Organic Week – WOW!
On September 17th Tilth Producers hosted the annual Organic Beer, Cider and Chocolate Tasting at Elliot Bay Public House & Brewery in Lake City (Northeast Seattle). With over 100 people in attendance, Elliot Bay’s special event room was packed all night with happy attendees and vendors. This event highlighted our efforts in advocacy, as Tilth Producers staff member Ariana Taylor-Stanley reminded us the importance of taking action on policy efforts for sustainable and organic agriculture. Tilth Producers board members Becky Warner, Beth Wheat, and Addie Candib reminded the crowd that Tilth Producers “empowers farmers to advocate for policies that support sustainable farming.”
Beer vendors included Elliot Bay Brewing Co. (Seattle), Aslan Brewing Co. (Bellingham), Pike Brewing Co. (Seattle), cider vendors included Aplenfire (Port Townsend) and Sixknot Cider (Twisp) and chocolate donors included Theo Chocolate (Seattle), and Hot Cakes (Seattle).
