Dunbar Gardens grows a variety of apples, vegetables, and herbs, but our specialty is locally grown and handcrafted willow baskets. Katherine Lewis is an accomplished willow basketmaker who weaves beautiful baskets for home and business. She and husband Steve Lospalluto grow selected varieties of willow which are cut annually, dried and sorted for use in basketry. Willow baskets are sold on the farm or by mail order. We also have one of the largest selections of willow cuttings in the US. Willows are a versatile plant that can be grown in the garden or on the farm for basketry and crafts, garden poles, living willow structures, hedgerows and windbreaks, and conservation.
