Dates: June 1, 2018 through October 9, 2018 (dates are flexible)

Summer Run Farm is located in the Snoqualmie Valley near Carnation,  a 50 minute drive from Seattle.  The 20 acres is used for row crops but also includes 5 acres fenced for a dairy cow.  Summer Run has been selling at farmer’s markets for the past 15 years.  We enjoy focusing our time and attention on garlic. As an experienced farmer who has made a living in my fields, I can offer workers an opportunity to be exposed all aspects of my small farm.   There are opportunities to work at a farmers’ market on Sundays and learn the ins and outs of sales, set up, and customer service. Folks who are enthusiastic about working hard in the soil regardless of weather conditions,  like to work independently, enjoy taking on responsibilities, and learning, will do well here. Second year or those with experience are encouraged to apply.  This is a great opportunity for people who perhaps have other goals or responsibilities in their life, because the number of hours offered is limited.   I’m offering 1 to 2 days a week to start and up to 3 days a week as we get busy, one day being at the farmer’s market Sunday and the others being in the fields.
