Learn about grape pruning and vineyard management from experienced viticulturalists and winemakers Betsey Wittick (Bainbridge Vineyards) and Mike Lempriere (Perennial Vintners). We will visit both vineyards to learn about their management of grapes in a Western Washington climate.
Topics will include variety selection, site preparation, floor management, trellising systems, pest contol, and summer vine tending. Plus, this workshop will include a hands-on pruning lesson!
