About our farm:
Red Dog Farm is a 23-acre organic farm in Center Valley on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula. Our farm is comprised of thirteen acres of crop fields, where we grow mixed vegetables, berries, and cut flowers, plus five acres of hay. The farm borders Chimacum Creek and is nestled against the foothills of the Olympic Mountains.
We sell our produce at three weekly farmers markets, our 45-week CSA program, at local restaurants and retailers, and at our farmstand.

Duration of stay:
WWOOFers are welcome from May- September. Please contact farmers to discuss how long you want to stay on the farm. We prefer WWOOFers who can stay for a minimum of 2 weeks.

Accommodations:
Tent camping (bring your own tent or use ours). Bedding not provided. Communal bathroom with toilet, sink, shower and laundry and communal outdoor kitchen are available for use. WWOOFers are responsible for their own meals. Vegetables from the farm and staple ingredients are available for use.

Expectations:
Activities volunteers could expect to do while visiting Red Dog Farm include: weeding, planting, harvesting, and moving irrigation. Volunteers will work with our fun and motivated farm crew on whatever projects a given day has in store for a minimum of 25 hours per week. This is a production farm. We work very hard here and we all love the work we do. Please only consider visiting if you want to experience a true working farm.

Near-by fun:
Bikes are available for use by WWOOFers. Within two miles are a cute café, grocery store, library with internet, beach, other organic farms, post office, and various restaurants. Port Townsend, a 20 minute bus ride, offers food co-op, restaurants and coffee shops, vibrant boat yard, festivals and other activities. Access to the Olympic Mountains is only an hour away by car. Two-hour bus and ferry ride takes you to Seattle or Victoria, BC. Please note that WWOOFers need to be able to entertain themselves.

Transportation:
Bus stops ½ mile from farm. We can pick you up, or enjoy the short walk.
