River Run Farm is a Certified Organic vegetable farm on the beautiful Dungeness River near Sequim, WA. We retail produce at farmers markets, and wholesale to regional grocers and distributors. Our current staffing needs include one full-time Field Crew position and one part-time Field Crew position. Both positions have flexible start dates in May and variable end dates between late-October and mid-November.

Field Crew members will participate in most aspects of field scale vegetable production. Tasks will include: soil mixing, seeding, hoop house watering, transplanting, hoeing, hand weeding/thinning, harvesting, sorting, washing, packing and storing. All tasks involve duration and repetition outdoors, occasionally in inclement weather. Applicants should be relaxed in a positive attitude towards hard work and readily display the ability to successfully engage with instruction and feedback. Saturdays at Farmers Market will be a regular feature of the full-time position, which will require a valid drivers’ license.

Compensation for full-time and part-time work starts at $11.00/hour and includes fresh organic produce. There are currently no vacancies in on-farm rental housing. Outdoor tent living with access to indoor communal kitchen and bath facilities may be an option for qualified applicants. We are working to expand rental housing options for our employees and are happy to assist new hires in securing local housing, if we are able.

The season upon us is a fantastic opportunity to cultivate friendship, manifest vision, and achieve goals. All the while feeding people and stewarding land and water. If you are excited to join us, we would love to hear from you!
