MisFit Farm looking for intern for diversified farming operation

MisFit Farm is located on 16 lush acres in Redmond, Wa. We are a diversified farming operation offering a private equestrian training facility, CSA member produce producer, grass fed beef from our miniature lowland angus cattle, Free range meat birds and eggs from our free range layer chickens. We also have small orchard production. Our farm will expand to include pork next season. We seek a person that is not afraid of hard work, is looking to learn how to run a diversified farming operation and is willing to learn equine husbandry, pasture management, mud management, manure management, growing produce to meet our CSA obligations, and poultry and livestock management. Work to include eggs sales and harvesting of meat birds. This job will require some heavy lifting (up to 90 pound hay bales) and work is done in all kinds of inclement weather. Other job duties will entail managing our social media through FB, instagram, and our website. Www.misfitfarms.com. Vehicle provided during work hours. Office and computer avail during office hours. Position will share a small percentage of profits from our CSA income. Daily lunch provided. We require a one year commitment and can lead to a permanent position after one year of internship.
